Day 3/10 Diet Challenge (Late Entry)

I was supposed to post this last night, but somehow I was too lazy to do it. My energy has been drained at the end of the day so instead I go to bed early not to sleep but watching tiktok until I fell asleep (don’t copy this behaviour lol!).

When thinking about how far I have gone in getting healthier and lose some weight I can’t help to notice few things that have changed along the way. These are the things that I have stopped doing or the least of my favorite when I was gaining weight, such as shopping for new clothes (nothing felt good in my body, especially pants), going to the doctor (because they always have to weight you, and I was always discouraged to see my actual weight on the scale) and taking picture in full body.

Now those things are not a big problem anymore. Although I still need to lose some more to get to my ideal weight but I was not as big as before.

So..going into the 3rd day of 10 days diet challenge, I started my day with two thinly sliced of grilled sweet potato with scramble eggs and 4 cuts of apples. I forgot to take a photo though, but I still managed to get it scanned for calorie counting using my BitePal app.

Lunch was, as always, leftover rice with lentils (starting now on, I would call it multigrain rice), lettuce and cucumber salad and fried egg in sour and spice sauce.

I snacked a bit here and there with couple of nuts and chips. Also, had a cup of green tea in the afternoon.

My dinner was a small portion of multigrain rice, capcay (vegetable mix with meatballs) and perkedel (Indonesian style mashed potato mixed with corned beef and fried).

Okay, I know that I am aiming to cut 75% fried food. Believe me this is already 75%. Hopefully I can go down to 50% of what I am consuming now.

I did my mat pilates, it was pretty satisfying. It has been quite a struggle for me to workout these days. But I always manage to show up no matter what. Sometimes I show up 100% sometimes only 75%. That’s okay as long as I keep showing up. Because being consistence is what matters, right?

  1. Keep embracing those small, sustainable steps. You’ve established a pattern of showing up—now you just need to keep nurturing that consistency!
