I saw my post in December 2024, and who would’ve thought, I blink and it’s already almost mid of July 2025. Time flies but it’s not news, right?
So let me give you an updates about what I have been up to in the last couple of months. With yearly holiday is approaching I have embarked on a weight loss journey hoping to shed some kilos to look better in my holiday photos. Honestly with all my effort, the scale hasn’t been moving fast enough but it’s okay I have patience (can you picture me rolling my eyes as I typed this?).
This time I refused to seek for another “diet method”. A friend mentioned about ayuverda diet. Also on tiktok some people talk about military diet, water diet, and so many I lost count. This time I want to change my eating habit. I see it’s about chaning my lifestyle. So the journey started with calorie deficit and daily workout.
Sounds so simple right? But it took me lots of browsing, observing my body need, calculating my calorie and analyzing my result every week. I don’t join a gym membership, I don’t pay a private trainer and don’t follow specific coach. The only thing I paid was an app called Bite Pal to scan and calculate my calorie intake.
It’s been two months already. I start seeing a more definition of my body but in term of scale it’s really moving slow. Like really slow. However I have become stronger.

In the beginning of my workout I used only 1kg dumbel. Now, it’s already increased to 2.5kg with more reps and sets. I do 321 workout method which comprises of 3 days of strength training, 2 days of mat pilates and 1 day of low impact cardio.
For my food, in addition of being on calorie deficit, I also incorporate green tea and lemon ginger honey tea in my diet.
I haven’t hit my goal yet, but I am very excited about it.
