Holy SMOKD Dubai: Eat, Meat, Repeat

Talking about eat, meat and repeat, well we did repeat. This was our second time visiting Holy SMOKD Dubai for its delectable choices of smoked meat, and of course the best brisket in town. It didn’t matter that we had to drive 106+ kilometers from Ras Al Khaimah as long as we went back home fully satisfied with happy tummy.

Fortunately it is already mid of October, which means the weather is slowly pacing into the winter. The temperature is cooler so the road trip is more pleasant (although I don’t think it would matter so much because our car’s AC is blowing hard still).

Situated in an industrial area of Al Quoz, at first you would not easily recognize the place. Holy SMOKD hides inside a compound with only a small signage at the entrance. The parking area is just at the road side with limited space, but no worries because there is a parking guy who is always ready at your service.

Walk a little bit into the compound, at your left hand side you would see a bigger sign of the Holy SMOKD.

We arrived just in time, 5 minutes past 12. They open at 12 noon. Last time we were here, the queue was long that’s why today we made sure we had enough time and didn’t have to wait for long.

To my surprise, there was no queue at all. I think it’s good that we came early.

Sausages, briskets and ribs were our main menu, accompanied with 2 portions of mac ‘n cheese. We added 2 portions of seasoned fries and mac ‘n cheese ball for my son.

I think, today amongst the four of us, the ribs were the main star. We loved the tenderness and the marination. They were so juicy. The sausages were also amazing. Need to get those more next time.

Overall, the meats were perfect. All tender, juicy, just lovely.

With only total of around AED 500 (1,3 kgs worth of meat including side dishes and beverages) for the four of us, I would say Holy SMOKD is very affordable.

Definitely a place to come back for more.

PS: Holy SMOKD only opens during weekend at 12 noon (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

smoked brisket itu memang enaaak kok… lemak2 manja nya malah bikin rasa daging makin sedap kan ;p. di jakarta untungnya ada restoran smoked brisket juga, LC Smoked house, jadi kalo kangen brisket aku biasanya kesana.

  Eh LC Smoked House daerah mana ya? Soalnya aku pernah makan brisket di Jakarta dan itu enak banget. Tapi aku lupa nama tempatnya 😦
